Protect Wild Horses

Minimize Captive Horse Suffering
There are 55,000 wild horses in government holding facilities. The laws protecting mustangs mandate that the Wild Horse and Burro Program should try to adopt them out. Anyone can adopt a mustang and try to tame it, with the result that horses fall into homes where things don't work out and it's the horse that suffers. We are trying to change a small part of that system by training horses for adoption and demonstrating good training techniques. We believe that mustang taming must become a topic of scientific research in order to solve this national problem.

If you find this site gives you hope for the mustangs, please share it.
