Neeshch'ii' means pinyon nut in Navajo. In the winter, she turns a nut brown, in the spring, the top coat falls to reveal a white pony, who then loses another layer to become a blue roan. She is like having three different colored horses. Neesh came from another rescue who could not overcome her wild streak. She had been made fearful of halters. A month of careful training helped this sweet girl get over her anxiety and now she is easy to catch. She loves jumping into the trailer. Neeshch'ii' has many videos on our YouTube channel and will be featured in a problem-solving video on halter issues.
