Phantom

Phantom is a thirteen-year-old gelding who used to run wild with his own band near Placitas, NM. He was gelded, tamed, and adopted in 2019 but returned to us last year. He’s both sweet and sensible and brings a sense of maturity and calmness to the herd at Mustang Studio, near Santa Fe, where he’s advancing in his training and regaining trust in humans.

Phantom is pony-sized and sound, but his legs show signs of old injuries and/or emerging arthritis. He may have potential to become a kid’s horse, with light riding, once an adopter earns his trust. But he would also be a great companion addition to any herd. He readily adapts to existing herd dynamics, while adding experience and helping to steady other horses.

To adopt this or any other animal at Mustang Camp, call the adoption coordinator, John Irick at 505-419-9754 or email john@mustangcamp.org

We can reserve your horse upon receipt of signed application form.
